Company Description
As part of temporary assignments during the winter season, we offer opportunities with our clients, including hotel establishments of all categories in the various resorts of the region, as well as traditional and community restaurants. These assignments are mainly located in the mountains, in the canton of Valais. As some establishments are located directly on the slopes, the ability to ski is essential to access the various assignment locations. In this context, we are actively seeking:
Cooks / Chefs de Partie (M/F)
Job Description
Depending on the temporary assignments offered to you with our various clients, you will join the kitchen team and, under the orders of the head chefs, participate in the mise en place as well as the preparation of dishes served in the "à la carte" restaurant or for the catering and event section, in the production kitchen. You will mainly use and transform fresh, quality products which you will enhance according to the standards and recipes of the establishment. Depending on the assignments offered, you may be required to perform "live cooking" services in front of guests.
Profile Sought
With recognised training as a cook, you have at least two years of experience in hotel establishments or catering. You are committed to preparing quality dishes. Your attention to detail and your taste for innovation make you a collaborator who can truly bring added value to our various clients. Minimum French level B2.
You are proficient in skiing, an essential condition for some assignments located on the slopes. Having your own vehicle is also a real asset to facilitate your travel between the different resorts. Please note, no accommodation is provided for these assignments: you must therefore have your own accommodation solution.
