Our client is an internationally active technology company that develops innovative and maintenance-free solutions for dynamic applications. To strengthen the team, we are looking for a technically skilled individual who wants to actively help shape the establishment of local procurement in Switzerland.
What can you achieve?
- Building and managing a local supplier network for mechanical processing and technical services
- Assessing technical drawings, manufacturing possibilities and specifications
- Obtaining and comparing offers as well as coordinating with suppliers and internal departments
- Supporting price clarifications and delivery dates
- Coordinating supplier inquiries and accompanying procurement processes
- Handling quality deviations and complaints
- Contributing to the development of efficient procurement processes and supplier structures
- Maintaining master data and supporting evaluations and key figures
To succeed in this, your profile includes:
- Technical basic training, e.g. as a polymechanic, production mechanic, designer, automation technician or comparable
- Experience in production, production planning, manufacturing, engineering or technical internal service
- Technical understanding and the ability to read drawings and manufacturing documents
- Interest in purchasing, supplier management and procurement processes
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with suppliers
- Independent and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German skills, English is an advantage
