Responsibilities:
Planning, controlling, and monitoring the procurement process
Supplier management: selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers as well as negotiation of framework agreements and conditions.
Needs analysis: identification of the need for materials and services in close coordination with the specialist departments.
Price and contract clarifications with suppliers to ensure competitive conditions.
Creation and processing of orders as well as monitoring delivery dates and quality.
Continuous optimisation of procurement processes and identification of saving potentials.
Obtaining necessary documents (quality certificates, etc.) from suppliers.
Evaluation and validation of new suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Completed commercial or technical training or comparable qualification with relevant purchasing-related further education.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and assess complex contexts.
- Experience in negotiating with suppliers and confident appearance in negotiation situations.
- Structured and independent working style as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team.
- Confident use of MS Office applications and ideally experience with ERP systems.
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; French is an advantage.
