Building and/or Civil Engineering Labourer (M/F)
Randstad Bulle is looking for one of its clients, a construction company active in the canton of Fribourg, motivated and vigorous labourers ready to commit to various sites in the region.
Your main tasks:
In building masonry:
Assisting with the preparation of materials, tools and site supply.
Preparation, mixing and delivery of mortar, concrete and binders.
Assisting qualified masons with formwork, stripping and concrete pouring work.
Regular cleaning and tidying of work areas to ensure site safety.
In civil engineering:
Assisting with earthworks, shovelling, pickaxing and backfilling trenches.
Assisting with the laying of pipes, conduits, curbs and paving stones.
Handling and transporting heavy materials using wheelbarrows or small construction machinery (subject to authorisation).
Signalling and securing the site surroundings.
Qualifications
Your profile:
- Experience: Some successful experience on a Swiss construction site (building or civil engineering) is an important asset.
- Physical abilities: Excellent physical condition (carrying heavy loads), endurance and resistance to outdoor weather conditions.
- Personal qualities: Dynamism, punctuality, team spirit and willingness to learn.
- Safety: Strict adherence to safety instructions on sites (mandatory use of PPE).
- Mobility: Driving licence (cat. B) and vehicle highly appreciated.
- Language: Good understanding of French (essential for following safety instructions).
- A long-term temporary contract.
- Salary conditions in accordance with the collective labour agreement (CLA) for structural work in Switzerland.
- Professional support and supervision within a local agency.
