Apprenticeship as Laboratory Technician EFZ specialising in Chemistry

What awaits you here:

• Testing of foodstuffs and consumer goods for a wide range of parameters using classic wet chemical analysis methods and technical equipment
• Introduction to the synthesis (production) of substances
• Possibility to attend vocational baccalaureate with good performance
• Individual support and a good working atmosphere with plenty of variety
• Exchange with other apprentices within the AVS and the cantonal administration (including "Jump-In" and other events for apprentices)

What you bring:

• District school or very good secondary school leaving certificate, especially good grades in mathematics, chemistry and physics
• Interest in scientific processes and enjoyment of experimenting
• Enjoyment in handling technical equipment
• Objective and logical thinking as well as manual dexterity
• Precise work, good powers of observation, patience, perseverance and reliability
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as physical fitness (stamina for standing)
