We are looking for a Head of Department Welding and NDT Technology (m/f/d) to complement our team and further develop welding expertise at Endress+Hauser worldwide. In this role, you will shape a central specialist area with real influence on our products through your expertise, leadership personality, and enthusiasm for technology.

In this role, you combine strategic responsibility with closeness to the team and, together with committed colleagues, make an important contribution to ensuring that our technologies are reliably used worldwide.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- lead a team of up to ten process specialists and project managers both professionally and disciplinarily and ensure their continuous development.
- take on the functional leadership of the global matrix organization for welding and testing and be responsible for the strategic and operational further development of the specialist area.
- manage innovation initiatives in the specialist area together with your team and implement them together with internal stakeholders within the framework of investment projects.
- support product development in the product creation process by early involvement of manufacturing know-how.
- support international locations through targeted technology transfer as well as engineering and production support.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- have successfully completed a technical degree and are a certified welding engineer.
- have several years of leadership experience in an industrial environment and ideally have experience leading matrix organizations.
- have extensive experience in welding manufacturing and sound knowledge of international standards and regulations.
- preferably bring pronounced methodological competence, e.g., in DFM/DFA, FMEA, Lean Six Sigma.
- are proficient in German and English, both spoken and written, feel comfortable in an international and intercultural environment, and are willing to travel internationally about 10% of the time.
