Team Leader Test and Release Management (TURM) 100%

What is my role?

Our client is looking for a team leader for Test and Release Management (TURM), who, together with the team, is responsible for the quality and release readiness of the software - from the test strategy to secure delivery.

Your tasks:

Testing management:

• End-to-end responsibility for test strategy and quality assurance

• Organisation and execution of individual and release tests of development results

• Integration of automated tests and quality gates as well as continuous development of continuous testing

• Creation of specifications, realisation and maintenance of test environments in cooperation with system engineering

• Bug and performance analyses

Release management:

• Creation of deliverable development results (updates, patches, etc.) for tests and releases

• Coordination of provision, validation and release of software releases

• Creation of documentation (release notes, update descriptions, technical notes)

• Evaluation and promotion of the use of modern tools, such as AI, to improve processes in testing and release management

Staff management:

• Work and resource planning

• Professional support, promotion and development of employees

What do I need to be successful?

You bring the following:

• Extensive professional experience as a software tester

• ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level (or equivalent training)

• Leadership experience

• Strong quality awareness

• Good analytical skills, systematic and structured working style

• Affinity and understanding of business processes (ERP)

• Process and application knowledge in the finance domain (necessary, among other things, for testing interfaces)

• Strong communication skills (written and oral)

• Team spirit, healthy assertiveness, flexibility, independence, creative problem solving and initiative

Advantageous:

• ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level (Test Manager or Test Analyst)

• Good knowledge in the field of system engineering (operating systems, network, hardware)
