Maintenance Automation Engineer & Instrumentation
To strengthen our Maintenance & Engineering team at our Vionnaz site, we are looking for a passionate Maintenance Automation Engineer & Instrumentation who is enthusiastic about technology, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Your impact
As an expert in automation systems, instrumentation, and electrical installations, you play a key role in the availability, safety, and performance of our production equipment. You work directly on strategic installations in a demanding and highly regulated environment.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure the assembly, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve faults to guarantee the continuity of our operations.
- Participate in improving the reliability of installations and propose innovative solutions to optimise their performance.
- Identify obsolescence issues and contribute to defining tomorrow’s technical standards.
- Ensure compliance of interventions in accordance with GMP requirements, CAPA, and Change Control processes.
- Perform periodic checks and calibration activities of instrumentation equipment.
- Ensure installations comply with ASE, OIBT, and NIBT standards.
- Participate in the technical on-call service to provide necessary support for site operations.
Your profile
You are a hands-on professional who enjoys understanding technical problems, finding sustainable solutions, and working within multidisciplinary teams.
Ideally, you have the following qualifications:
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an automation technician, automation fitter, or electrical installer.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance and automation systems.
- Good knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs and industrial communication protocols.
- Proficiency in reading electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical diagrams.
- Knowledge of GMP or regulated environments is an advantage.
- OIBT certification under article 13 is desirable.
- Good command of common IT tools and SAP.
- Fluent French; English and/or German are assets.
