As a System Engineer IT Infrastructure, you are responsible for planning, implementing and operating modern IT infrastructures. You work on exciting infrastructure projects in the areas of Windows server environments, VMware virtualisation and firewall technologies and ensure a stable and secure IT operation.
Responsibilities:
Implementation and operation of IT infrastructure projects in the environment of Windows Server and VMware
Planning, implementation and further development of server and client virtualisations
Support and maintenance of heterogeneous IT infrastructures
Ensuring a stable, secure and high-performance IT operation
Analysis and resolution of technical faults
Support of internal and external customers
Optimisation of existing systems and IT processes
Qualifications:
Completed IT training EFZ with a focus on system technology or a comparable qualification
At least 5 years of professional experience as a system engineer in the field of virtualisation and IT infrastructure
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Server, VMware and firewall technologies
Experience in operating and supporting complex IT infrastructures
Independent, structured and customer-oriented working style
Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
