The Interprofessional Simulation Centre (C4) is the centre for simulation-based teaching of health professions in the canton of Vaud. Born from a collaboration between HESAV, the University of Lausanne (UNIL), the Institute and Haute École de la Santé La Source, and the CHUV, it represents a unique inter-institutional initiative in French-speaking Switzerland. The C4 promotes interprofessional learning by offering innovative simulation environments, serving initial training, continuing education, and skills development for health professionals. Simulation Logistician
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Attached to the Logistics unit of the C4, you actively participate in and support teachers in their simulation activities.
You manage the operational aspects of simulation activities by ensuring the supply of educational materials and overseeing their setup. In particular, you install equipment in rooms, prepare premises to ensure the smooth running of simulation courses, and carry out necessary technical checks. You also regularly inspect all medium and high-fidelity mannequins and ensure their repair.
You collaborate in the administrative management of C4 equipment and primarily manage the stock of educational materials. To this end, you document the equipment register, catalogue simulation materials, and assist in preparing orders. You ensure that the equipment is well organised and in its place in the stock, and that it is in good condition and functional.
DESIRED PROFILE
Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a Logistician, you have at least 3 years of proven experience in the health or education sector. Additional training in a technical field (electronics, medical, etc.) is an asset.
You hold a category B driving licence and are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of English enables you to consult user manuals.
You demonstrate a genuine customer orientation and a strong team spirit that allows you to collaborate harmoniously with your colleagues. Organised and versatile, you know how to adapt effectively to new situations. Finally, your ability to solve technical problems is a real asset.
