Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of a state-of-the-art network infrastructure (MPLS, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls) including consultation on device connections in the medical environment
Participation in network automation with Python, Ansible, REST APIs and tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center
Definition and maintenance of network and security standards as well as management of the system lifecycle
Analysis and resolution of network faults and performance issues (Layer 2-7) in collaboration with internal and external partners
Participation in the implementation of ITIL processes, policies and standards
Participation in the on-call service and on-site deployments at the supported locations
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or further education with professional experience in the network environment
Solid knowledge of enterprise networks, ideally with Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP)
Experience in switching & routing, OSPF, BGP as well as firewalling and network security
Know-how in network automation with Python and Ansible as well as technologies such as Cisco WLAN, ACI, Palo Alto, load balancing, Linux or Kubernetes is an advantage
Structured, analytical and independent working style
Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage
