IT System Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
In this position, you design modern IT infrastructures and ensure that complex system landscapes operate reliably and efficiently. You manage various customer environments, implement new technical solutions, and continuously develop existing platforms. In doing so, you combine sound system engineering with practical implementation and solution-oriented support.
Responsibilities:
Planning, building, and operating cloud and on-premises infrastructures, including their administration and optimisation.
Support and further development of network environments with WLAN, switching, routing, and firewalls.
Installation and commissioning of servers, clients, and network components directly at the customer site or via remote access.
Analysis and resolution of complex system and network faults in diverse IT environments.
Implementation of infrastructure projects and ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT operations.
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, specialising in platform development, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of professional experience in system engineering or in managing IT infrastructures, ideally at an IT service provider.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Windows Client, and Microsoft 365.
Solid know-how in network technologies, especially VPN, routing, and firewall, as well as practical experience with cloud and virtualisation solutions.
Independent and reliable working style, strong customer orientation, teamwork skills, very good German language skills, English skills advantageous, and a category B driving licence.
