Your area of responsibility

• You plan, organize, lead, and take over the personnel and professional management of the Transactions team, currently with seven employees.
• You participate in projects as well as in the optimization of processes and workflows.
• You are responsible for ensuring the processing of open settlement transactions (LgZ + LoZ) as well as daily foreign exchange dispositions via Avaloq and subsidiary systems.
• You correspond with our partner banks and custodians via email and telephone in German and English.
• You are responsible for custodian deliveries by sending SWIFT messages and custodian reconciliations (internal and external).
• You ensure the registration/deregistration of registered shares including coordination with the share registers.
• You handle your own bonds, private placements, and refinancing transactions.
• You assist in the preparation for Swiss and international tax statements and act as a contact person for tax issues in the securities area.
• You and your team ensure the daily business operations (including opening and maintaining securities master data, handling bank treasury, stock exchange and repo transactions, and much more).

Your potential

• Completed banking training and several years of professional experience in the securities processing environment (mainly settlement)
• Several years of experience as a manager
• Positive and empathetic personality with high initiative
• Business administration knowledge, ideally with corresponding further training
• Strong service and solution orientation combined with a flair for process and cost efficiency
• Resilience, sense of responsibility, good assertiveness, as well as very reliable and precise working style
• Avaloq knowledge is an advantage
