Project Manager Heating / Sanitary (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional as a Project Manager for Sanitary / Heating for an established building technology company specialising in sanitary installations, heating systems, and energy-efficient building technology solutions. You will independently lead and coordinate sanitary and heating projects from order placement through to installation and successful commissioning and handover. The focus is on technical and economic project management, leading installation teams, and responsibility for work preparation, material planning, costs, and deadlines. The position combines practical building technology management, technical customer consulting, and modern installation solutions with high personal responsibility and diverse development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Independent management of sanitary and heating projects from order placement through execution to acceptance and handover

• Technical and economic project responsibility including cost planning, schedule monitoring, quality assurance, and ongoing project controlling

• Organisation and coordination of project execution with internal installation teams, specialist planners, site management, suppliers, and external partners

• Work preparation (AVOR) and installation planning including personnel deployment, material ordering, and coordination of execution dates

• Professional leadership and coordination of sanitary and heating installers to ensure efficient and high-quality installation work

• Preparation and calculation of quotations, additional charges, and measurements as well as processing of interim and final invoices

• Technical planning and implementation of sanitary and heating installations considering applicable standards and project-specific requirements

• Coordination of heat generation, heat distribution, and sanitary systems including hydraulic connections, drinking water installations, and drainage systems

• Participation in construction and coordination meetings as well as alignment of technical interfaces with architects, clients, and other trades

• Technical advice and support for customers regarding system concepts, execution variants, and economic optimisation options

• Monitoring installation quality and compliance with relevant regulations, especially SIA standards and SVGW guidelines

• Support during commissioning, functional tests, and acceptance including defect management, project documentation, and continuous optimisation of internal processes

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training EFZ in the field of sanitary or heating, for example as a sanitary installer EFZ, heating installer EFZ, or building technology planner EFZ

• Further training as a project manager in building technology, chief installer, or technician HF building technology is an advantage

• Professional experience in the Swiss building technology sector, especially in installation, planning, or coordination of sanitary and heating systems

• Experience in project management or willingness to take on project responsibility with knowledge in work preparation, installation organisation, and site coordination

• Expert knowledge in sanitary and heating technology as well as understanding of technical installation processes, material disposition, and quality assurance

• Knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards and SVGW guidelines as well as confident use of digital quotation, billing, and project management tools

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as a category B driving licence
