Responsibilities:
You ensure proper financial reporting for several companies and are responsible for financial statements according to applicable accounting standards and internal group guidelines.
In the area of general ledger and intercompany accounting, you check postings, resolve discrepancies, and monitor the correct presentation of all balance sheet items.
You handle tax filings and VAT issues, working closely with tax advisors and internal contacts.
With meaningful management reports and financial analyses, you make developments and deviations transparent and support short-term data requests.
You act as a professional interface to controlling, treasury, and payroll accounting, accompany audits, and drive improvements in accounting processes.
Qualifications:
Your professional foundation is a completed commercial apprenticeship with further training in accounting or a business degree with a focus on accounting.
You have several years of experience in finance and accounting and are familiar with processes in complex corporate structures.
You are well versed in HGB accounting and VAT.
You combine a flair for numbers and strong analytical skills with an independent, reliable working style and communicate fluently in German and English.
