Role:
An experienced professional is sought for a demanding network environment in the field of critical infrastructures. The focus is on the planning and operation of modern L2/L3 networks, the further development of automation, as well as reliable fault resolution during ongoing operations and in the 7x24 on-call service.
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of complex L2/L3 network infrastructures
Participation in the development and further development of network and operational concepts
Development and operation of network automation solutions
Analysis and resolution of network faults in daily business and during the 7x24 on-call service
Support in the further development of existing network environments
Training and knowledge transfer for internal staff, operations, field support, and customers
Qualifications:
Training as an IT specialist EFZ, HF, FH or comparable qualification
Several years of practical experience in the network environment
Sound knowledge of WAN and LAN protocols
Experience with network automation, ideally with Python and Ansible
Independent, solution-oriented working style and willingness for continuous development
Organisational skills, flexibility, and strong service orientation
Teamwork skills
Fluent German skills and very good English skills
