Role:
A modern workplace only functions with well-managed devices. As a Workplace Engineer Microsoft 365 & Intune (Junior), you ensure that Windows clients and mobile devices run reliably in a Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. Your most important tool is Microsoft Intune. Experienced colleagues will support you and gladly share their knowledge. This way, you will gradually grow into more demanding topics.
Responsibilities:
You administer Windows clients as well as smartphones and tablets and oversee their setup and rollout.
Additionally, you create application packages, distribute them via Intune, and assist in automating software deployments.
You independently maintain configuration profiles, compliance requirements, and endpoint security policies.
You plan Windows and security updates and keep the clients’ patch management on track.
In case of disruptions, you analyse causes in 2nd-level support and resolve incidents related to clients, apps, and deployments.
You also support Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, assist with onboarding and offboarding regarding licences and permissions, and document inventory and environment meticulously.
Qualifications:
You already have some professional experience in workplace engineering, client support, or system areas.
You are confident with Windows 10 and Windows 11 as well as the services of M365.
You have managed end devices centrally and know the basics of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).
Software packages, updates, and concepts such as antivirus, firewall, or device compliance are familiar to you.
Additionally, you have an analytical mindset. You approach problems in a structured way and persist until the solution is found.
Ideally, you have already experimented with PowerShell. You speak fluent German and feel at home with English technical documentation.
