You want to design demanding IT environments, solve technical challenges independently and implement innovative infrastructure concepts in practice? In this role, you take responsibility for the stable operation of various system landscapes and drive their technical modernisation forward. You combine classic server and network technologies with cloud solutions and work closely with various internal and external contacts.
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of IT infrastructure projects including technical planning, execution and commissioning.
Operation, monitoring and further development of complex system landscapes for various company areas and external customers.
Administration and optimisation of hybrid IT environments with a focus on on-premises systems and complementary cloud services.
Analysis and resolution of demanding technical faults in 2nd and 3rd level support as well as development of long-term solutions.
Evaluation and introduction of new technologies, optimisation of existing platforms, maintenance of system documentation and execution of planned maintenance work outside usual operating hours.
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in system engineering, system administration or operation of complex IT infrastructures.
Good knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.
Solid experience with network architectures, especially firewalls, routing, switching and WLAN.
Experience with Linux, preferably Debian, as well as interest in IT security, cloud technologies and modern workplace concepts.
Analytical, independent and solution-oriented working style with high personal responsibility as well as very good German skills and good English skills.
