Central Valais Wood Trades Representative (m/f/d) 100%

To strengthen our team in Central Valais, we are looking for a person passionate about field sales who knows the wood trade very well with a commercial background starting from 1 January 2027

We are looking for our future Representative to join our external sales team. You have a strong network in the region among professionals in the construction field: carpentry, timber framing, wood construction, roofing & façades companies. You enjoy developing your network and sales, so this position is made for you.

• In collaboration with the sales manager, you establish the sales plan (including budget)
• You establish and maintain relationships with existing customers, understand their needs and advise them on the choice of the appropriate product
• You will also prospect and acquire new customers
• You will also present and promote the company’s new products/services
• You will negotiate sales conditions and close contracts
• In this role, you will work closely with our Back Office and Sales Point teams to ensure follow-up of offers
• Continuous monitoring of customer accounts
• By planning your weekly visits, you ensure contact updates, customer satisfaction, dispute management and field prospecting

For this role, we are looking for a proactive, autonomous person who guarantees high performance. In addition, you bring the following skills to the position:

• Federal VET Diploma in sales with 3 years of experience in external service sales, preferably in the wood construction sector and/or Federal VET Diploma in the wood sector with commercial experience.
• Good interpersonal skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Result, solution and customer orientation
• Strong ability to work independently and in a team
• You already have a wide network of clients in the wood construction sector, carpenters, joiners, fitters, roofers and façade specialists in the regional fabric of the canton of Valais
• Mother tongue: French, German or English would be a great advantage
