Project Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a specialist for client-side project management of demanding building construction projects in new builds and renovations. You take responsibility for managing complex construction projects and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality, and project objectives. You coordinate internal and external project participants, develop technical and economic solutions, and create transparent decision-making bases for the client. The position offers a versatile environment at the interface of client representation, project management, and real estate development.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management and client representation for demanding new build and renovation projects
Management and monitoring of costs, deadlines, quality, and project objectives
Establishment and maintenance of project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, and project controlling
Coordination and management of architects, specialist planners, contractors, and other project participants
Technical leadership and support of project managers within the project organisation
Conducting and leading project, client, and steering meetings
Preparation of project status reports, decision-making bases, risk analyses, and forecasts
Support in tendering, awarding, contract, and change management
Identification and management of project, cost, schedule, and quality risks
Development and evaluation of technical and economic optimisation variants
Accompanying complex planning, approval, and realisation processes in Swiss building construction
Further development and optimisation of project management, controlling, and digital planning processes
Qualifications:
University degree in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering, real estate economics or comparable qualification
At least 2-3 years of professional experience in project management of construction or real estate projects
Knowledge of cost, schedule, quality, and risk management in building construction projects
Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary planning teams and external project participants
Knowledge of Swiss planning and construction processes as well as relevant SIA standards
Confident use of common project management, controlling, and office applications
Fluent German skills, good English skills are an advantage
