About the job
For an established IT company with several locations in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, we are looking for a committed individual as a System Engineer in the Cloud area. In this role, you will manage and develop modern cloud and on-premise infrastructures and accompany demanding customer projects from planning to implementation.
- Operation, administration and continuous development of cloud and on-premise environments
- Support, optimisation and modernisation of existing infrastructure technologies
- Analysis and resolution of complex technical challenges
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for projects, systems and IT environments
- Ensuring a stable, secure and high-performance IT infrastructure operation
- Evaluation of new technologies and support in the introduction of innovative IT solutions
- Proficient in handling Windows Servers and AD
- Experience with MS Azure and cloud technologies
- Knowledge in networking and IT security
- Certifications in Microsoft, VMware or Veeam environments are an advantage
- Customer-oriented, independent and solution-focused working style
- Team player qualities
- Very good German skills and solid English skills
- Driving licence category B is an advantage
