What you accomplish

• Ensure the achievement of operational, financial, qualitative and human objectives of the sector, particularly regarding costs, yields and losses in production
• Supervise, support and develop the managers, specialists and employees under your responsibility
• Guarantee optimal personnel planning as well as the availability of facilities, machines and materials necessary for production
• Ensure compliance with regulations relating to occupational safety, hygiene, quality, compliance and animal welfare
• Analyse complaints and coordinate corrective and continuous improvement measures with the relevant sectors
• Lead cross-sector projects, contribute to the development of production capacities and ensure data reliability in the various systems
• Coordinate external slaughters and ensure professional collaboration with internal and external partners

What you bring

• Education: Higher education
• Specialisation: Higher education level training, advanced professional examination or university of applied sciences, ideally complemented by management training
• Professional experience: Proven professional experience in a production environment, team leadership and continuous improvement
• Strong managerial skills and experience in leading teams composed of diverse profiles
• Good command of common IT tools, especially Microsoft Office and SAP
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy and initiative
• Analytical ability, solution orientation and ease in managing complex situations
• Flexibility, openness to change and entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent communication, collaboration and conflict management skills
• Strong sensitivity to quality, safety, performance and customer satisfaction issues
