About the job
A cantonal public law institution, the CNP is tasked with leading the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with partner institutions. The CNP aims to rehabilitate patients suffering from mental disorders by adopting a model of integrated and community psychiatry; it implements public policies for the promotion and prevention of mental health; it acts as a reference centre in the field of professional training and research in psychiatry.
The finance department, for its medical secretariat sector, is looking to fill, for the childhood and adolescence department, the position of:
Medical Secretary at 90%
Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification, you have at least 5 years of experience in the administrative field. A medical secretary diploma is an advantage. You wish to join a recognised institution specialised in mental health.
As part of your role you will be required to:
o act as an interface with patients, families and partners by ensuring a professional and courteous physical and telephone reception
o schedule appointments and participate in managing diaries
o ensure the quality, reliability and continuity of administrative tasks related to patient care
o manage document flow (handling mail, following up and proofreading reports, file requests…) and ensure proper maintenance of medical records
o work closely with medical and multidisciplinary teams and provide them with effective and proactive administrative support
Your skills
o Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee, pharmacy assistant, or equivalent qualification
o Medical secretary diploma, an advantage
o 5 years of experience in a similar position
o interpersonal ease, diplomacy and ability to handle stressful situations
o excellent organisational skills and effective priority management
o dynamism, open-mindedness and quick execution
o autonomy, rigour and precision
o flexibility and motivation to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
o perfect command of the French language, both spoken and written
o regular use of the Office suite and ideally, knowledge of the software used at CNP (Opale, Polypoint, Carefolio)
