What awaits you.

Our unit is responsible for railway renewal projects. On a daily basis, we manage the planning and execution of railway track and track equipment works. As the project execution manager, you ensure proper monitoring of costs, quality, deadlines and safety, from study to commissioning. You will work with many internal and external contacts to implement reliable and efficient works.

What you can influence.

• In this role as site manager, you ensure the completion of railway renewal projects in French-speaking Switzerland.
• You are responsible for planning materials, logistics, intervals, safety, personnel and machinery for all your sites.
• You monitor the execution of works (including staff instruction, debriefing), as well as administrative follow-up (budget, SAP monitoring, tenders for external companies).
• On a daily basis, you collaborate closely with the installations manager, the project manager, internal SBB partners (interval management, wagon and machinery management, other internal partners), as well as various external partners.
• You coordinate the work of other technical services, e.g. contact lines, safety installations, cables, with development projects.

What you bring.

• Your professional and personal background has enabled you to develop a strong team spirit, good collaboration skills with many stakeholders, as well as autonomy in your work.
• Over the years, you have gained at least initial experience in work management, ideally in the railway sector or civil engineering.
• You have training in the construction field. This position can be suitable for someone with a CFC qualification or higher education (HES, CAS, university).
• You are proficient in French (level C1); good knowledge of German would be an asset.
• For this position, you may occasionally be required to work at night or on weekends, depending on site needs.
