A company with a growing cloud infrastructure is looking for an experienced professional to build, operate and further develop Microsoft Azure environments. The focus is on stable IaaS and PaaS solutions, integration of the Power Platform and continuous automation of operational processes.
You will accompany cloud migrations, develop suitable solution architectures and support with demanding technical issues. You will work closely with various IT departments and ensure that availability, security and operational quality meet the requirements.
Responsibilities:
Development, operation and optimisation of the Microsoft Azure platform with IaaS and PaaS services
Support of cloud onboardings and migrations with a focus on the Power Platform
Design and implementation of Azure solution architectures
Automation and improvement of installation, transition and operational processes using scripting
Handling of 2nd and 3rd level incidents as well as participation in incident, problem and change management
Ensuring stable operations, support in recovery and emergency measures as well as collaboration with internal specialist departments
Qualifications:
Higher education degree in computer science at tertiary level or equivalent training
Several years of experience in cloud engineering and operation of cloud platforms
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS; experience with the Power Platform is an advantage
Experience with monitoring, IT security, architecture design and ITSM processes
Knowledge of DevOps methods and automation, for example with Bicep or comparable tools
Very good German and English skills; Azure certifications and basic knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud are advantageous
