Planning, configuration and continuous improvement of heterogeneous customer environments with a focus on connectivity and protection mechanisms.
Overall responsibility for technical projects including solution design, implementation, coordination and handover.
Ensuring ongoing operations as well as handling complex faults within managed network platforms.
Evaluation of new methods for access protection, segmentation and secure communication.
Knowledge transfer within the engineering team and active development of shared solution components.
Qualifications:
ICT vocational training with relevant professional experience or advanced studies in a technical IT field.
In-depth understanding of LAN/WAN, wireless networks and routing as well as practical experience with HPE Aruba.
Experience with next-generation firewalls, preferably FortiGate; vendor certifications are welcome.
Knowledge of reverse/forward proxy, network access control, RADIUS, 802.1X, ClearPass, PKI and digital certificates.
Confident handling of Windows environments and virtualisation, combined with initiative, customer orientation, resilience and solution-oriented communication.
