Automation Technician (m/f/d)
Your Job
- Perform electrical and electronic repairs as well as maintenance work on locomotives at construction sites and maintenance locations throughout Switzerland
- Analyse, localise and rectify faults and malfunctions using diagrams, technical documents and diagnostic systems
- Create work reports and write electrotechnical documentation
- Produce and update diagrams for technical changes to machines and maintain the associated documentation
- Overhaul, assemble and test electrical and electronic components, assemblies and complex modules according to sketches, technical drawings, diagrams and parts lists
- Assist with internal commissioning and acceptance of machines
- Provide telephone support and on-call service throughout Switzerland
- Support in related specialist areas such as hydraulics and pneumatics
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training EFZ as automation technician/automatic assembler, electrical fitter (industry), mechatronics technician or electromechanic
- Solid practical experience in electromechanical repair, overhaul and service work
- Knowledge in creating and adapting electrical diagrams, ideally with EPLAN and ELCAD
- Willingness to work irregular hours and on-call as required
- Driving licence category B
- Good IT user skills, especially in MS Office and other relevant programmes
