Cloud Solution Architect (m/f/d)
Our Rocken partner is an internationally active Swiss industrial company with its own development and production. The company develops technical solutions for industrial applications and operates worldwide. Quality, innovation, and many years of experience characterise the company.
Role:
As a Cloud Solution Architect, you are responsible for planning and implementing complex IT systems. In this role, you take the lead in developing and implementing IT solutions. You are responsible for analysing requirements and creating architectural concepts. Your level of experience as a professional is an important factor for success in this role. You bring your skills and knowledge to develop innovative solutions and keep IT systems up to date.
Responsibilities:
You design future-proof Azure environments and implement powerful, secure platform solutions together with external specialists.
You support decision-makers in technological alignment and translate corporate objectives into sustainable cloud concepts.
You examine existing application landscapes, data flows, and business processes and identify suitable modernisation opportunities.
You define technical architecture principles, coordinate demanding migration projects, and ensure their economic implementation.
You establish comprehensible documentation, promote internal skills development, and continuously optimise the cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
You have a university degree in computer science, business informatics, or an equivalent technical qualification.
You have at least five years of architectural practice, including three years in designing Microsoft Azure solutions.
You are proficient in Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps as well as basic cloud security concepts.
You are familiar with network protection, Microsoft Entra ID, permission models, and the technical specification of complex processes.
You have experience leading major IT initiatives and impress with strategic thinking as well as excellent German and English skills.
