Training plan
The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and leads to the Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC).
Theoretical training:
Courses are given at the Commercial and Craft Professional School (EPCA) in Sion, one to two days per week.
Practical training:
Practical training in the company takes place at CIMO, under the responsibility of a trainer.
Inter-company courses (CIE) are organised by the CIFC (Interest Community for Commercial Training) in Sion to provide the practical basics of the profession.
The profession
During your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to discover very diverse areas. The work is mainly done using a PC, a telephone or paper documentation. You will have the chance to rotate between three departments where you will become familiar, among other things, with:
- Sales administration: answering phones, managing agenda and meeting planning, processing orders...
- Finance: checking and accounting invoices, accounting transactions, processing purchase requests...
- Human Resources: managing personnel data, monitoring employee hours, issuing documents related to social insurance...
Future prospects
After obtaining your CFC, you can consider the following further qualifications:
- Federal diploma
- Federal certificate
- Bachelor of Science HES
- Etc.
