IT Application Specialist (m/f/d)

With a broad range of locations and offerings as well as a unique corporate philosophy, our ROCKEN partner advances diagnostic expertise worldwide and sees its role as being at the centre and starting point of every therapy decision.
Responsibilities:
- You manage databases and ensure integrity, security, and performance
- In this role, you use your programming skills to develop and maintain applications
- As an IT Application Specialist, you diagnose and resolve technical issues in databases, applications, and IT infrastructure
- You accompany IT projects from initiation to completion using appropriate project management methods
- In this role, you communicate fluently in English and German, both orally and in writing
Qualifications:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- You have experience leading or participating in IT projects focused on business-oriented solutions
- You can work independently and in teams across functions and approach tasks proactively and solution-oriented
- You are familiar with laboratory processes, laboratory information systems (LIS), as well as standards and regulations in healthcare
- You bring experience with middleware integration, instrument interfaces, and laboratory automation systems
- Ideally, you have initial exposure to business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or comparable solutions for data analysis and reporting
