SMP Shop Sàrl, a dynamic and innovative company, is looking for an Assistant Salesperson to join our team focused on customer needs and respect for short supply chains regarding fresh products. As a private company, we prioritise local artisans and regularly adjust our assortment according to the seasons and the availability of regional products.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Salesperson, your main tasks will include:

• Managing staff on an operational level
• Managing various suppliers
• Welcoming and advising customers with professionalism and courtesy
• Ensuring shelf stocking and product replenishment
• Participating in stock management and inventory
• Maintaining a clean and attractive sales area
• Contributing to achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the food sector
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in team management, ideally 5 to 10 employees
• Good customer service skills and complaint handling
• Ability to organise and coordinate daily store operations
• Good knowledge of hygiene and workplace safety standards is an asset
• Good spoken French; knowledge of another language is an asset
• Flexible hours (evening, weekend and public holiday work)
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy and initiative
• Proficiency with cash register tools and management IT systems
• Positive, proactive and exemplary attitude
• Resident in Switzerland. Maximum 20km from the station.
