Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, an established and well-networked audit company in the economic metropolis of Zurich, we are looking for an experienced individual for auditing clients in the public sector and related institutions. You will actively participate, take on responsibility early, and benefit from close, interdisciplinary collaboration with recognised specialists in a collegial and straightforward team. Together you will further expand the public sector audit mandates in the Zurich economic area.
Responsibilities:
You ensure, together with the team, the professional auditing and comprehensive consulting of clients – from public sector institutions to non-profit organisations
You competently advise clients on bookkeeping and accounting (HRM), support in financial statement preparation and in the development of internal control systems
In your specialist leadership role, you provide targeted on-the-job training for junior auditors
You actively participate in shaping and further developing internal tools and processes in auditing
You contribute to acquiring new clients in the Zurich metropolitan area
You maintain and expand the network with decision-makers in the public sector and related organisations
Qualifications:
You are a certified public auditor as well as a licensed audit expert and bring experience in the public sector, ideally also with non-profit organisations
Ideally, you already have know-how in bookkeeping or auditing for municipalities, cantons, or other public institutions
You are an authentic, positive-thinking team player and quickly connect with people; initial leadership experience is an advantage
You feel comfortable in a dynamic, digital working environment
You convince with clear, understandable, and concise communication skills in German
