About the job
You understand the processes in the hospital and combine technical know-how with a good sense of the needs of users. As an Application Manager, you support core medical applications, analyse requirements, and accompany solutions from the initial idea to stable operation. In doing so, you work closely with the specialist departments and external suppliers and contribute to ensuring that the medical applications function reliably and are continuously further developed. The position is available immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks
- You ensure the smooth operation of the core medical applications and are an important interface between users and suppliers.
- You analyse requirements from various specialist departments, coordinate them, and advise internal customers on the applications and cross-departmental processes.
- You accompany the conception, realisation, and introduction of solutions and ensure their quality as well as reliable operation.
- You take over 2nd- and 3rd-level support, analyse occurring problems, and coordinate their resolution. You regularly provide on-call duty and deployment.
- You develop solution proposals for new requirements and coordinate these with the involved specialist departments and suppliers.
- You plan and conduct system tests, document the results, and accompany software updates of the supported systems.
- You work on the further development of the medical application landscape, taking into account the requirements of the various specialist departments.
Your profile
- You have a higher education in medical informatics, computer science, or business informatics (HF, FH or university), a completed apprenticeship in computer science, or relevant professional experience.
- You bring experience in supporting medical applications and in business analysis.
- You know the processes in healthcare and understand how these are mapped in a medical application landscape.
- You are familiar with terms such as archive, RIS, PACS, DICOM and HL7 interfaces, as well as ITIL.
- You have a strong customer and service orientation and communicate clearly and appropriately in German.
- You think analytically, have good technical skills, and quickly grasp new contexts.
- Knowledge of SQL as well as Windows Server and Linux is an advantage.
