You are passionate about finance and want to apply your expertise in general ledger accounting specifically. In this role, you will take expert leadership of the financial accounting for several federal offices and ensure that these are properly and audit-compliantly managed. You analyse financial data, contribute to financial statements, and ensure that requirements and guidelines are precisely implemented. You will work in a dynamic environment where you handle complex issues and deepen your expertise daily. In doing so, you contribute significantly to transparent and reliable financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for financial accounting with a focus on general ledger, financial statements, asset accounting, account reconciliations, and master data according to the federal budget and accounting regulations
You prepare monthly reporting and support the controlling department with budgeting, cost-performance accounting, evaluations, and authorisations in SAP
You provide technical support and develop process documentation (including internal control system - ICS)
You proactively participate in projects within the financial accounting department
Qualifications:
You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or higher technical school (e.g. Expert in Accounting and Controlling, Specialist in Finance and Accounting)
You bring professional experience in accounting with a focus on financial accounting, including ICS
You have very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
You are characterised by an analytical and conceptual way of thinking as well as a goal- and result-oriented, resilient working style
You have good knowledge of two official languages
