Role:
Do you want to build workplaces that work reliably everywhere? As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you are responsible for virtual desktops in the private cloud and connect them with multicloud environments. You translate customer wishes into technical standards with long-term sustainability. When it gets technically challenging, the questions come to you.
Responsibilities:
You continuously develop Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and multicloud workplaces and ensure stable operation
You analyse complex problems in system architectures in 3rd level support and find sustainable solutions
Furthermore, you define new product standards oriented to customer needs
You technically implement customer projects in private and multicloud environments
Additionally, you support technical project managers in IT projects as a professional resource
Qualifications:
A computer science education, suitable further training, or equivalent practical experience forms your basis
You have already operated virtual desktops with Citrix or Horizon and are familiar with virtualisation and common backup tools
You are confident in Windows server and client environments and master Active Directory including Group Policies proficiently
You bring know-how in Microsoft 365 (M365), such as Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, and Defender, and think beyond a single cloud
Moreover, you tackle tasks independently, work methodically, and keep a cool head even with tricky analyses
Additionally, you are a true team player, write precisely in German, and communicate effortlessly in English
