Role:
Our Rocken partner is looking for an independent individual who takes responsibility for financial accounting and the timely preparation of financial statements. In close collaboration with the CFO and the finance team, you will handle overarching financial matters and further develop existing processes. With meaningful reporting and analyses, you create sound decision-making bases.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for financial accounting as well as independent planning, coordination, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Accurate and timely preparation of VAT and tax returns
Technical contact person for booking, closing, and process questions
Handling overarching financial topics in close cooperation with the CFO, controlling, and accounts payable
Preparation of meaningful reports and financial analyses
Implementation and further development of internal control system processes
Support during audits including provision of required documents and coordination
Planning and execution of inventories as well as active optimisation of financial processes
Qualifications:
Professional certificate in finance and accounting or at least eight years of professional experience in a comparable position
Solid experience in independently preparing financial statements and strong numerical understanding
Confident handling of ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or NAV, as well as very good knowledge of Microsoft 365
Independent, forward-looking working style with high initiative and sense of responsibility
Willingness to take on cross-departmental tasks and actively shape financial processes
Clear communication and enjoyment in collaborating with different interfaces
Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
