Gland
AV Programmer
- 02 November 2026
- 100%
- Permanent position
- English (Fluent), French (Native language)
About the job
Founded in 2001, Lémanvisio SA now has more than 50 employees spread throughout Switzerland. Specialising in the integration of audiovisual and home automation solutions, we support our clients in the design and realisation of high-performance and innovative technological environments.
As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a
100% AV Programmer.
Your mission
- You transform the diagrams from our engineers into automated, reliable and easy-to-use systems.
- You write the control code, programme multi-room automation, configure audio/video matrices and create touchscreen interfaces. You document precisely the logic of your code, the different versions and the configuration of each room, so that your colleagues can follow the project.
- Your analytical skills and tenacity enable you to diligently search for intermittent bugs, serial commands that no longer respond or any other issues identified in the rooms.
- Your interpersonal skills allow you to be an effective and attentive work partner to your colleagues.
- The position is based in Gland, with commissioning on client sites and some commissioning and troubleshooting remotely.
Main responsibilities
- Control programming: design, code and deploy automation logic on reference platforms (Crestron, Extron, AMX, Q-SYS).
- DSP and audio architecture: configure, route and adjust Q-SYS and Biamp Tesira DSPs for optimal acoustic performance, including AEC.
- UI / UX: create clear, modern and intuitive touch interfaces (CH5, Q-SYS UCI, TouchLink), suitable for executive users as well as the general public.
- System integration: develop drivers, APIs and modules to integrate third-party equipment (projectors, codecs, lighting, blinds, HVAC) into the control environment.
- Network and AVoIP: configure and diagnose AVoIP streams (Crestron DM NVX, SVSi, Extron NAV…) and Dante audio routing on clients’ network infrastructures.
- Commissioning: analyse plans and synoptics from the design office, then test, patch and commission critical rooms, on site or remotely.
- Documentation and support: document code and configurations, maintain a version-controlled module library, and provide level 2–3 support on the installed base.
Technical skills
- Crestron: mastery of SIMPL Windows and SIMPL+, as well as CH5 (HTML5) or C# / SIMPL# Pro on series 3 and series 4 processors.
- Q-SYS: advanced mastery of Q-SYS Designer, including Lua scripting, control components and block controllers.
- Extron and AMX: experience with Extron Global Configurator Professional, Global Scripter (Python) and AMX NetLinx Studio and Javascript.
- Biamp: in-depth knowledge of Tesira, logic blocks and VoIP / SIP integration.
- Languages: solid foundations in Python, Lua or C#, essential for next-generation Crestron and Q-SYS.
- IT network: good knowledge of IP networks, DHCP, 802.1X, VLAN tagging and multicast routing applied to AV.
- Experience/training: 3 years or more in AV control system programming; CFC, ES or HES training in electronics, computer science or telecommunications, or equivalent background.
- Languages: fluent French and technical English.
Desired certifications
- Crestron: Crestron Certified Programmer (Silver, Gold or Platinum level appreciated).
- Q-SYS: Q-SYS Level 1, Level 2 or Control 201.
- Extron and AMX: Extron Authorized Programmer (EAP) or AMX / Harman programming certification.
- Biamp: Biamp Tesira certification.
- Audio over IP: Audinate Dante Level 1 to 3.
- Industry: AVIXA CTS or CTS-D, a major asset.
