Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Construction Management / Client Representation for the technical development and sustainable value preservation of a versatile real estate portfolio. You plan and manage renovation, maintenance, modernisation and conversion projects and represent the interests of the owners. The focus is on small to medium-sized construction projects in existing buildings and their cost-, schedule- and quality-compliant implementation. Additionally, you advise property management on construction-related issues, investment decisions and maintenance and budget planning.
Responsibilities:
Management of renovation, maintenance, modernisation and conversion projects in existing real estate
Acting as client representative towards planners, contractors, authorities and other project partners
Conducting condition analyses and deriving appropriate maintenance and value preservation measures
Development of renovation concepts, project variants, cost estimates and decision-making bases
Controlling projects in terms of costs, schedules, quality and project scope
Coordination of architects, specialist planners, contractors and specialists
Support of tendering, offer comparisons, awards and contract processes
Monitoring construction execution and supporting acceptances, defect rectification and warranty work
Advising property management on construction-related questions and investment decisions
Support in budgeting, multi-year planning and maintenance strategies for existing properties
Simultaneous management of several construction projects of different sizes and project phases
Ensuring complete project, cost and construction documentation
Qualifications:
Basic construction technical training with further education as Certified Technician HF Construction Planning, FH Architect or FH Civil Engineer
Several years of experience in project management of renovation and maintenance projects
Sound knowledge in building in existing structures, construction management and client representation
Experience in cost, schedule, tendering and quality management
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction and real estate practice
Confident handling of digital project management, office and documentation systems
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
