Junior Accountant (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, as an accounting clerk, you contribute decisively to the financial stability and administrative efficiency of the company. You ensure a reliable basis for business decisions through the secure handling of accounting, compliance with legal requirements, and precise management of financial and contract data. As a central interface between internal and external partners, you ensure the smooth running of business processes. Your accuracy, efficiency, and organisational skills are essential for the operational performance and long-term economic stability of the company. Responsibilities:
- You handle accounts receivable and payable accounting including invoice verification and posting
- In this role, you manage and monitor incoming and outgoing payments
- As an accounting clerk, you conduct the company’s liquidity planning
- You carry out dunning procedures and clarify open items with customers and suppliers
- In this role, you prepare VAT returns
- As an accounting clerk, you manage and maintain documents, partner contracts, and master data
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial basic education with further training in finance (federal diploma FA)
- You have professional experience in finance and/or administration
- You are familiar with preparing VAT returns and have basic knowledge of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and VAT
- You are proficient with the MS Office suite, ideally complemented by experience with Abacus software
- You communicate confidently in German and well in English
- You work in a structured and independent manner, are discreet, trustworthy, communicative, a team player, reliable, and think in a networked and forward-looking way
