Lyophilisation Technician

Mandated by our client in Geneva, our team is actively seeking a Lyophilisation Technician.

Job description

Within the production department, you actively participate in activities related to the manufacture of pharmaceutical products under GMP. You ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of operations according to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare solutions intended for lyophilisation according to established protocols.
• Ensure loading and unloading of lyophilisers.
• Carry out mixing between lyophilisates and excipients respecting defined critical parameters.
• Operate the granulation line (settings, monitoring, documentation).
• Ensure inspection and sorting of capsules by sampling on the inspection line.
• Complete associated documentation (batch records, check-lists, logbooks).
• Execute planned manufacturing according to instructions from the Team Leader or Coordinator.
• Check the condition of installations and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Participate in cleaning and restoring production lines.
• Contribute to first-level maintenance operations and collaborate with maintenance for planned interventions.
• Strictly apply safety, hygiene rules, and the company’s HSE standards.
• Work according to good manufacturing practices (GMP).
• Respect quality procedures and report any deviation or anomaly.

Expected profile:

· Higher technician training (Bachelor, BTS, IUT or equivalent) in pharmaceutical, agri-food, or biotechnological fields.

· Minimum 3 years confirmed experience in the pharmaceutical industry

· Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook…).

· Knowledge and practice of working in a GMP environment

· Use of an ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an additional asset.

· Fluent level in French, both spoken and written.
