Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d)
Our client is an established Swiss industrial company with an international focus and high expertise in mechanical and plant engineering. The company develops technically sophisticated system solutions and combines modern technologies with comprehensive engineering know-how. Responsibilities:
Processing and analysing 2nd-level faults as well as coordinating escalations
Performing installations, configurations, maintenance and system updates
Managing servers, operating systems, databases, networks and peripheral devices
Supporting IT projects, changes and technical customer solutions
Independent fault analysis and problem solving including on-call service and direct customer contact
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in IT support and system operation
Good knowledge of hardware, software, networks and Active Directory
Experience with databases, ideally Oracle and MS SQL; interest in industrial automation and plant engineering
Fluent German and English skills, Italian an advantage, as well as residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
