Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional for project management and service of refrigeration and heating systems. You will accompany projects from technical planning and design through procurement to assembly and commissioning and ensure timely and cost-effective execution. About two days per week you will be active in technical field service and undertake fault diagnosis, repairs and service work on refrigeration machines, heat pumps, refrigerated cabinets and fan coils. This position combines demanding project management with practical refrigeration technology and offers a varied mix of office and field work.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of refrigeration systems from planning to commissioning
Technical design and coordination of refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems for customer-specific applications
Ensuring timely, cost- and quality-compliant order processing
Review of technical specifications, schematics, data sheets and system documentation
Technical and commercial support of the field service for project and customer enquiries
Procurement and technical evaluation of customer-specific components and refrigeration products
Coordination of delivery dates, material flows and logistics between customers, suppliers and internal departments
Execution of commissioning, functional tests and system optimisations
Carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on refrigeration machines, heat pumps, refrigerated cabinets and fan coils
Systematic fault analysis and error diagnosis on refrigeration and electrical components
Control and optimisation of refrigeration circuits, controls and system parameters
Creation and maintenance of service, commissioning and project documentation
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as refrigeration system mechanic EFZ or comparable refrigeration technology training
Several years of professional experience as a service technician in refrigeration or heating technology
Initial experience in project execution, technical administration or project management
Sound knowledge of refrigeration technology, heat pumps, refrigeration circuits as well as control and regulation technology
Experience with fault diagnosis, repair, maintenance and commissioning of refrigeration systems
Good user knowledge of Microsoft 365, experience with ERP/order processing systems is an advantage
Good German language skills; French or English skills are an advantage
