Your tasks
- Support and ensure the technical availability of automation systems at the Basel site
- Support and further development of the overarching server systems in the automation and operational technology environment (HMI, SCADA, PLS)
- Interface function between users, IT, engineering and suppliers
- Execution and support of projects in the field of automation (e.g. optimisation, adaptation, extension, modernisation) on plants and systems
- Integration of plants, systems and components into the Bell Group structure
- Support during commissioning and production support of highly complex plants
- Contribute your know-how to provide professional support to various maintenance and project teams
What you bring
- Completed training as a technician, preferably with prior training as an electrician, electronics technician, automation technician or IT specialist
- Professional experience in programming and commissioning of PLC and visualisation systems, such as Siemens S7 (Step 7 Classic / TIA Portal) and WinCC, as well as in fieldbus systems like ProfiNet etc.
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills in spoken and written form, French is an advantage
- Experience with IT systems (Windows client, server, networks)
- Experience in the implementation and coordination of automation projects
