You will look after modern automation and server systems, support projects from optimisation to the integration of new plants, and work closely with production, engineering and IT. Your tasks

• Support and ensure the technical availability of automation systems at the Basel site
• Support and further development of the overarching server systems in the automation and operational technology environment (HMI, SCADA, PLS)
• Interface function between users, IT, engineering and suppliers
• Execution and support of projects in the field of automation (e.g. optimisation, adaptation, extension, modernisation) on plants and systems
• Integration of plants, systems and components into the Bell Group structure
• Support during commissioning and production support of highly complex plants
• Contribute your know-how to provide professional support to various maintenance and project teams

What you bring

• Completed training as a technician, preferably with prior training as an electrician, electronics technician, automation technician or IT specialist
• Professional experience in programming and commissioning of PLC and visualisation systems, such as Siemens S7 (Step 7 Classic / TIA Portal) and WinCC, as well as in fieldbus systems like ProfiNet etc.
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills in spoken and written form, French is an advantage
• Experience with IT systems (Windows client, server, networks)
• Experience in the implementation and coordination of automation projects
