Head of Nursing Department

Wilhelm Fabry is regarded as the founder of scientific surgery. We remain committed to this tradition of combining science and surgery today at the Wilhelm Fabry House. In our inpatient ward, we primarily care for patients from the disciplines of urology and visceral surgery. We are part of the Abdomen medical area, which also includes hepatology, gastroenterology, nephrology, and thoracic surgery.

What to expect

• Responsibility for and further development of the inpatient ward on the 3rd and 4th floors with a total of 37 beds, the urological intermediate care unit with 5 beds, and the outpatient clinic
• Ensuring coordinated, patient-centred care
• Personnel management of team leaders and nursing experts
• Responsibility for further personnel development in the areas within the Wilhelm Fabry House
• Close interprofessional exchange with various disciplines and other stakeholders
• Active participation in decision-making processes within the nursing management team

Your profile

• Tertiary level nursing diploma
• Several years of leadership experience including completed leadership training
• Expertise and diverse perspectives for the further development of nursing
• Warmth and focus on facts
• Assertiveness and self-reflection
• Excellent communication skills
• Solution-oriented thinking, high initiative, and the ability to motivate and inspire staff
