Project Manager Sanitary (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified specialist as Project Manager Sanitary / Building Technology for the independent planning, coordination, and realisation of demanding sanitary projects in an established Swiss building technology company. You will take over the technical and commercial project management from the offer preparation through execution planning to commissioning and handover. The focus is on sanitary planning, budget control, project controlling, site coordination, as well as the leadership and coordination of the executing project participants. The position combines sound expertise in sanitary technology, project management, and customer consulting with responsibility for the economical, timely, and high-quality implementation of building technology projects.

Responsibilities:

• Sanitary technology project management: Independent technical and commercial leadership of sanitary projects in new construction, conversion, and renovation from project takeover to handover.

• Sanitary planning and project design: Coordination and processing of drinking water installations, hot water supply, drainage systems, and sanitary facilities.

• Execution and assembly planning: Preparation and review of execution documents, installation plans, technical schematics, and assembly bases.

• Cost and budget management: Responsibility for project budgets, cost forecasts, change order management, billing, and economical project completions.

• Project controlling: Ongoing monitoring of project progress, target-actual comparisons, cost deviations, and economic key figures.

• Scheduling and resource planning: Preparation and coordination of project schedules, assembly deployments, material deliveries, and execution processes.

• Site coordination: Coordination of sanitary installations with construction management, architects, specialist planners, installation companies, and other trades.

• Quality assurance and compliance with standards: Monitoring execution considering SVGW guidelines, SIA standards, hygiene requirements, and applicable installation regulations.

• Customer consulting and project support: Technical and commercial advice to clients, general contractors, architects, and business partners.

• Acquisition and offer preparation: Acquisition of new sanitary projects and customer orders as well as preparation of quotations, calculations, and technical solution proposals.

• Commissioning and acceptance: Organisation and accompaniment of functional tests, pressure tests, commissioning, defect rectifications, and final acceptance.

• Project administration and documentation: Preparation and maintenance of project documents, cost overviews, meeting minutes, revision documentation, and final accounts.

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as building technology planner sanitary EFZ, mandatory.

• Professional experience in sanitary planning and project execution, ideally with prior responsibility as project manager sanitary.

• Further training as certified technician HF building technology, project manager building technology, or sanitary planner with federal certificate is an advantage.

• Sound knowledge in sanitary technology, drinking water supply, building drainage, execution planning, and assembly processes.

• Knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards, SVGW guidelines, and cantonal installation regulations.

• Confident handling of common sanitary planning and CAD applications as well as Microsoft Office, especially Excel for calculation and project controlling.

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for customer consulting, project coordination, negotiations, and technical documentation.
