Role:

On behalf of a client, we are seeking a qualified professional for the architectural conception, design planning, and project management of demanding building projects in a diverse Swiss architectural environment. You will work on various new build and renovation projects and accompany them from the initial design idea through project development to construction implementation. The focus is on developing high-quality architectural concepts, digital planning with Archicad, and coordination with project managers and specialist planners. The position combines independent design and project planning tasks with the constructive further development of architectural solutions and participation in demanding construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Development and further development of architectural designs for demanding new build and renovation projects

• Development of spatial, usage, and design concepts considering functionality, materialisation, and cost-effectiveness

• Independent processing of preliminary and construction project documents according to the relevant SIA planning phases

• Creation and processing of architectural plans and 3D building models with Archicad

• Elaboration of floor plans, sections, facades, and architectural detail studies for further project development

• Participation in the preparation of building permit and approval documents including building law clarifications and plan adjustments

• Development of constructive detail solutions considering building construction, material selection, and technical feasibility

• Coordination and integration of specialist planner documents from structural engineering, building services, and other disciplines

• Participation in work and execution planning as well as support in technical clarifications during construction

• Creation of design presentations, visualisations, and project documents for clients and internal project meetings

• Quality assurance of architectural planning regarding design requirements, plan completeness, and applicable building regulations

• Coordination with project managers, specialist planners, authorities, and contractors to clarify planning and constructive issues

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies at ETH/FH (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent recognised higher education qualification

• At least two years of professional experience in architectural planning and project management of building projects in Switzerland

• Sound knowledge in architectural design, construction project planning, and constructive detail development

• Very good user knowledge of Archicad, especially in 2D plan processing and 3D building modelling

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations, and approval procedures as well as relevant architectural and planning processes

• Experience in coordinating specialist planner documents and handling new build and renovation projects

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for planning documents, project meetings, and coordination with clients and specialist planners
