Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the execution and detailed planning of demanding architectural and building projects. You will develop aesthetically high-quality and structurally well-thought-out solutions for construction projects in the areas of living, working, education, and health. The focus is on the precise implementation of architectural design ideas, digital planning with ArchiCAD and BIM, as well as the development of sustainable and economically feasible constructions. The position combines architectural quality awareness, solid execution competence, and innovative planning methods with the opportunity to help shape socially and ecologically responsible building projects through various planning and realisation phases.

Responsibilities:

• Independent handling of execution and detailed planning of demanding building projects in the areas of residential construction, work environments, education, and healthcare buildings

• Further development of architectural design concepts into technically and structurally feasible solutions while maintaining the design project idea

• Creation and coordination of execution, working, and detailed plans with ArchiCAD, taking into account project-specific requirements

• Building, processing, and maintaining digital 3D building models as well as participating in BIM-supported planning and coordination processes

• Development of demanding construction and connection details for building envelopes, façades, roof constructions, and interior fittings

• Development of sustainable materialisation and construction concepts considering ecological, economic, and functional requirements

• Coordination of architectural planning with structural engineering, building services, and other disciplines to ensure an integral and execution-ready plan

• Review and integration of building law, building physics, and fire protection requirements into the structural project work

• Processing of planning variants and structural optimisations focusing on technical feasibility, resource efficiency, and architectural quality

• Control and quality assurance of execution documents and BIM models regarding completeness, coordination, and compliance with project specifications

• Close collaboration with project managers, specialist planners, and site management to clarify technical issues during planning and realisation

• Support of the construction implementation of demanding architectural projects including detailed coordination, plan adjustments, and ensuring high-quality execution

Qualifications:

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture ETH/FH or an equivalent recognised university qualification

• Several years of professional experience in execution and detailed planning of demanding building projects, preferably in the Swiss planning environment

• Sound knowledge of building construction and technical-structural detail development as well as a strong ability to translate architectural design ideas into precise and feasible solutions

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD as well as practical experience with BIM methodology, digital building modelling, and model-based planning coordination

• Good knowledge of Swiss building laws, relevant SIA standards, and technical guidelines as well as understanding of building physics, fire protection, and sustainability requirements

• Strong architectural quality awareness and interest in socially responsible, economical, and climate-friendly building with a conceptual, innovative, and pragmatic mindset

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical project coordination as well as an independent, structured, responsible, and team-oriented working style
