Cyber Security Operations Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
As a Security Operations Specialist, you monitor security-relevant processes and support the stable operation of the IT security organisation. You investigate suspicious events, assess potential impacts, and ensure that appropriate responses to security incidents are initiated.
Furthermore, you control existing protective measures and track current developments in the cyber threat landscape. Your technical experience and interest in information security help you to identify risks early and continuously develop security processes.
Responsibilities:
Handling security requests as well as operational security events and incidents
Investigating suspicious activities and assessing possible impacts
Coordinating and implementing appropriate response and protection measures
Reviewing existing IT security controls and evaluating their effectiveness
Monitoring current cyber threats and preparing security-relevant information
Qualifications:
Completed studies at a technical college, university, or university of applied sciences
Several years of experience in IT operations or in software or IT development
Strong interest in cybersecurity and ideally practical experience in IT security
Independent, careful, and solution-oriented working style
Good analytical skills and a strong security awareness
Fluent German skills and solid English skills
