Chair of the Board SRG SSR (50%)

In this demanding role, you will lead the Board of Directors and represent SRG SSR towards politics, business, society and the public. Together with the Board and the Executive Management, you will shape the strategic development of SRG SSR and accompany its transformation in a dynamic media environment.

• You lead the Board of Directors of SRG SSR and ensure effective and future-oriented corporate governance
• You steer the strategic development of SRG SSR and ensure the sustainable fulfilment of its public service mandate in the digital age
• You promote the successful implementation of corporate and cultural transformation as well as the further development of a "One SRG" taking into account the cultural and linguistic diversity of the country
• You maintain close exchange with the Director-General and act as a sparring partner
• You represent SRG SSR towards authorities, political decision-makers and other stakeholders and promote dialogue between the company, its sponsors, politics and the public
• You strengthen the anchoring of public service in all language regions and represent SRG SSR in the political, social and media environment

• Several years of leadership and governance experience at the highest level as well as proven experience in the strategic support of complex transformation and change processes
• Excellent knowledge of the political functioning and decision-making processes of Switzerland with excellent networking at the interface of society, business and media in Switzerland
• High affinity for technology and a clear vision of how the media public service positions itself with the increasing dominance of artificial intelligence in the democratic and social environment
• Sound knowledge of modern corporate governance as well as experience in managing complex stakeholder landscapes
• Strong identification with the public service mandate and its importance for Switzerland
• Convincing communication skills and a confident appearance towards politics, media and the public
• Very good active knowledge of German and French as well as willingness to acquire knowledge of Italian and actively live the multilingualism of Switzerland
