Role:

In this role as Lead System Engineer Windows Platform, you design modern IT infrastructures around basic infrastructure, LAN, WLAN, security, communication, management, and the digital workplace. You are responsible for the stable and high-performance operation of Windows-based system landscapes and bring your solid Microsoft know-how to sustainably optimise environments both on-premises and in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure. You analyse complex faults, take technical leadership in incident cases, and develop solutions that go beyond mere troubleshooting. You coordinate several tasks and projects in parallel, keep priorities and quality in view, and ensure that infrastructure services are continuously improved. With your pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, you shape standards, drive automation forward, and ensure that the technologies used are operated efficiently, securely, and sustainably.


Responsibilities:

  • You plan, configure, and operate modern Windows and cloud environments from Microsoft 365 to Azure, on-premises and Leuchter CLOUD.
  • In this role, you lead complex customer projects from A to Z with high personal responsibility.
  • As Lead System Engineer Windows Platform, you advise customers strategically and practically on an equal footing.
  • You actively share your expertise within the team and promote mutual learning and exchange.
  • In this role, you further develop technical concepts and actively shape our IT services.

Qualifications:

  • You have several years of experience with Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and PowerShell.
  • You have a strong curiosity and always want to understand how things work and can be improved.
  • You work solution-oriented and pragmatically and prefer clear, simple approaches rather than unnecessarily complex processes.
  • You feel comfortable being authentic – whether in a hoodie or a shirt – and bring your personality into the team.
  • You are communicative and open to direct customer contact, new technologies, different opinions, and everyday exchange.
